Starting Tomcat v8.0 Server at localhost' has encountered a problem



Starting Tomcat v8.0 Server at localhost' has encountered a problem.

You may face this issue because of few of the below mentioned reasons:

1.  If you are running or will try to run multiple tomcat you may face this issue.

2. Or if you are using tomcat server port then you can also face this issue. and either you are required to stop the process which is using this port or you have to change the port for tomcat.

3. Your server is already running and you tried to start it again.






If still facing this issue, then follow below steps:

1. Open Windows Task Manager and press 'j' which will search for 'javaw' process as highlighted in
below scree.









2. Select 'javaw' process and click on End Process, a alert will shows up for End process confirmation. Click on End process button.




















3. Your server will Stop.
